The Power of Group Therapy for Teen Wellness

Teens today face an ever-growing array of challenges that can contribute to feelings of chronic anxiety, depression, and stress. The pressure to excel academically, socially, and personally can weigh heavily on their shoulders, often leading to feelings of isolation and overwhelm. Unhelpful comparisons to others on social media, cyberbullying, and safety concerns within schools are stressors piled on to “bigger picture” uncertainty anxiety about the future, including climate change, global events, and political and economic instability.
